Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Our Company
In December 2019, Kovinc celebrated a significant milestone — 40 years of successful business and growth. To mark the occasion, we hosted a special celebration that brought together employees, customers and suppliers for an evening of entertainment, reflection and appreciation.
The event took place on 19th December 2019, and was highlighted by speeches from our director, Mr. Damjan Žvelc, and our founder, Mr. Pavel Žvelc, who shared memories of the company’s early years and its development into a respected player in the metalworking industry. The programme also included a welcome address from the mayor of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, Mr. Franc Čebulj, recognising the company’s contribution to the local community and economy.
Guests enjoyed a rich culinary and entertainment programme. Live music by the Rok’n’band set the tone for the evening, while performers from Čupakabra captivated the audience with juggling acts and a fiery spectacle, creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflected both pride and celebration.
The celebration was a wonderful opportunity to honour the company’s journey since its founding in 1979, acknowledging decades of hard work, innovation and collaboration with partners across industries. This milestone not only celebrated Kovinc’s past achievements but also reaffirmed our commitment to continued growth and excellence in the years ahead.
