The IMRS is intended for automated drilling of holes required for the installation of systems including electrification, lighting and ventilation. By introducing robotics and digital control into this process, the system will help reduce physical strain on workers, improve safety conditions and ensure consistently high drilling accuracy.

The project runs from December 2023 to November 2025 and is oriented toward developing an advanced, mobile and adaptable robotic solution that can operate in complex and constrained construction environments. In addition to technological development, the project also contributes to the advancement of knowledge and competencies in robotics and system integration.

One of the steps we have taken is the introduction of separate waste collection across our company. Although this is a simple measure, it represents an important foundation for more responsible use of resources and proper waste management.

In addition, we have introduced e-business into our operations, reducing paper usage and supporting more efficient and environmentally friendly administrative processes. By optimizing internal workflows and communication, we are able to lower resource consumption while improving overall efficiency.

Our commitment to sustainability is further reflected in our investment in renewable energy. We have installed a 169 kWp solar power plant at our production facility, which contributes to lower emissions, more efficient energy use and greater energy independence. The solar power plant supports long-term cost efficiency and aligns with our goal of operating in a more environmentally responsible way.

As part of the same initiative, we have also installed an electric vehicle charging station on site and added an electric company car to our fleet. These steps support cleaner mobility and reflect our efforts to reduce emissions related to everyday business activities.

The new cell will be equipped with a Yaskawa Motoman AR2010 robot and a YRC1000 robot controller, together with a FB-500 floor drive unit. It features two workstations that are fitted with WG-3000 rotary positioners and Fronius TPS500i welding equipment, providing flexibility and enhanced process control for a wide variety of welding tasks.

With this configuration, we will be able to process components weighing up to 2.5 tons and with dimensions of up to 6500 mm × 1500 mm, enabling us to expand our capacity for high-volume and high-precision welding work.

Robotic welding cells like this one combine programmable robotic arms, integrated positioners and advanced welding power sources to achieve higher productivity, consistent weld quality and improved safety. Compared with manual welding, automation can deliver faster cycle times, reduced variation, and the ability to produce complex or repetitive welds with a high degree of precision.
