Sheet Metal Punching Procedure

The machine Technology Tecnumerik 30 CSM 1000 allows punching up to 8 mm thick metal sheets with a maximum hole diameter of 100 mm.

  • Does the sheet metal deform during punching?
    The sheet gets slightly deformed in the vicinity of the punch.
  • What sheet metal format or dimensions can you punch?
    We can punch sheet metal up to the format of 1500 x 3000 mm, and with the maximum thickness up to 3 mm.
  • Why punching sheet metal and not laser cutting it?
    When doing simple shapes, punching is more favourable due to lower energy consumption.
