Domestic technology and development were combined in the modern design of the lighting at the Petrol filling station in Pince.

Petrol is already dealing with the adaptation of filling stations to the provisions of the State Decree on the Limit Values of Light Pollution, coming into force at the end of 2008. The filling station in Pince is the first to meet all of its demands.

Investment will be reimbursed

We are aware that the initial investment for installing LED technology in the advertising boards is higher than using the fluorescent lighting, but this investment is quickly reimbursed (in up to 3 years), as the consumption of electrical energy is up to 10 times smaller than at the existing advertising boards.

If we also take into account the maintenance costs and life span, the reimbursement period can in some cases reach less than 2 years.

Due to the Decree on Limit Values of Light Pollution (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia no.  81/2007) the use of fluorescent lightings at a power of 17 W/m2 and 35 W/m2 is in fact impossible.
