Lighting cassettes are produced "on the linen", which means that specially shaped extruded aluminium profiles are welded to the frame, made from aluminium pipes and aluminium reinforcements and translucent linen is simply stretched on the profiles with the tensioners.

The underlighting is usually performed with the fluorescent lamps (through the electronic ballasts) or with the neon pipes with the power supply from transformers.

Both ways have been abandoned lately, especially due to the energetic inefficiency and partly also due to the recently established State Decree on Limit Values of Light Pollution.

The underlighting is exchanged with the LED technology of underlighting.
